From September 24 to 27, 2024, the future of mobility will be reshaped by digitalization, electrification, automation and sustainability in Berlin at InnoTrans, the leading trade fair for transport technology. This event, which takes place every two years, attracts key figures from the sector and offers unique networking opportunities for international cooperation.

The fair opens with a ceremony in palais.Berlin, where more than 1.000 guests from politics, business and media will be present. Key speakers such as EU Transport Commissioner Adina Valean, Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Affairs Dr. Volker Wissing, and Dirk Hoffmann, COO of Messe Berlin, will officially open the event.

One of the highlights is the panel discussion 'From Hype to Reality – AI in the mobility sector', with speakers such as Dr. Richard Lutz, CEO of Deutsche Bahn AG, and Mohamed Rabie Khlie, CEO of the Moroccan National Railway Agency.

New this year is the AI ​​Mobility Lab in Hall 7.1a, where more than 30 exhibitors will present the latest developments in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data protection and robotics. Google Cloud is one of the participants sharing their vision on the use of AI in logistics and supply chains. Guido Massfeller, Director of Business Development Public Sector at Google Cloud in Germany, emphasizes the importance of InnoTrans as a crucial meeting point for the industry.

In the AI ​​Mobility Lab, Next Generation Robotics will also demonstrate its ARGO system, a robotic arm designed for the inspection of train undercarriages. This system uses advanced AI algorithms to determine maintenance needs, making rail vehicle maintenance predictable and more efficient.

CRRC Academy presents its Industrial AI Open Platform, a cloud-based AI solution intended to revolutionize industrial systems. ZHAO Mingyuan, deputy dean of CRRC Academy, is convinced of the impact of AI on digitalization and intelligence within the industry.
