From October 25, 2020, no scheduled flights will be allowed to land after 23.00:XNUMX Eindhoven Airport. According to the ANP, this is stated in the permit that the government has granted to the airport for 2020-2021. The regulation is intended to limit the noise nuisance for local residents.

The NOS indicated that former State Secretary Van Geel the cabinet advised earlier this year to limit the number of flights to and from Eindhoven Airport. The deletion of the late landings was included in that advice.

In a letter to the House of Representatives, State Secretary Visser writes that it was actually the intention to delete the landings after 23.00 pm as early as the summer. But airlines need more time to adjust their schedules, Visser said. Therefore, up to and including summer, four flights are allowed to land daily after 23.00 pm.
