Johan Pouw of Pouw Transport in Vianen announces the promotion on Saturday evening Heart of the Netherlands. Pouw says he speaks about 90 percent of the coach industry. In recent weeks, branch organization KNV Bus transport has been lobbying for a long time and working on a strict guideline to be able to transport 1 people again from 30 June. Coach companies have long been left out in the cold when it comes to a restart of the sector.

“It concerns about 200 family businesses, all of which are more or less the same. The companies take any fines for granted, ”says Johan Pouw.

Dutch coach companies are going to follow the Corona guidelines, the same rules that are applied within public transport. They are the entrepreneurs not even to abandon their plans to relax the measures. That is why they will be transporting 30 people by bus from Saturday, instead of the permitted thirteen.

For public transport, the government has made an exception to be able to transport 30 people every day, but this does not apply to the coach industry. More than 30 people also travel in the same space on airplanes.
