The pilot with the digital general practitioner post spokuur.nl has been successfully completed. This is ideal for patients who do not have their own transport and do not want to use public transport or who prefer not to take a taxi during this corona time. The website spreekuur.nl was accelerated in March in the Eemland region because of the corona crisis and in the Rijnmond region a month later.

The website allows approximately 1,3 million inhabitants from the regions of Rijnmond, Eemland and Drenthe to prepare the digital consultation themselves. For this they go through validated triage and anamnesis questions and can add a photo. This saves work for the GP and triagist. In addition, the contact for patients remains personal, because they receive advice from general practitioners from the region.

launch

Since the launches in the Eemland and Rijnmond region, a total of 4000 patients have had a consultation. In the peak period of corona, 40 percent of these consultations were related to COVID-19. In addition, patients mainly used Spreekuur.nl for skin complaints, wounds, bruises and eye complaints. The Net Promotor Score (NPS) of Spreekuur.nl was 59 percent in the past period.

This NPS measures the extent to which a service is recommended, in this case by patients to other patients. With 59 Spreekuur.nl falls into the category of highest scoring organizations. The insurers involved, Zilveren Kruis and VGZ, are also enthusiastic about the new website and the solution it offers for the shortages among triagists and general practitioners.

Dianne Jaspers, medical director Huisartsen Eemland: 'We are very satisfied with the results achieved and the positive reactions from patients. With Spreekuur.nl we really put the patient first. The goal is: shorter waiting times, efficient consultations and fewer physical consultations because we save patients travel time. '
