For example, mouth masks are mandatory when boarding and during the flight, there are extra hygiene products on board and KLM aircraft are cleaned extra. The air on board is refreshed at a rapid rate with the help of HEPA filters. In addition, KLM naturally adapts to changing circumstances when governments in different countries take new measures.

KLM will also start operating daily flights to the Polish city of Poznan from 25 October 2020. It is KLM's fifth destination in Poland, after Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk and Wroclaw. KLM is carefully building the network. It was decided to first offer the customer as much choice as possible in terms of the number of destinations. This may be followed by an increase in the number of frequencies and / or capacity by using larger devices. Poznan is new to the KLM network. By adding this destination, KLM strengthens its position in the Polish market and is able to cope with the loss of demand on other routes in Europe.
