Slowly, more and more areas and countries are turning from code yellow to code orange again. Last week, the Greek islands turned from code yellow to code orange. And also various parts of France received an orange travel advice last week. The Dutch government has today adjusted the travel advice for certain parts in various countries in Europe from code yellow to code orange.

These are the Lisbon region in Portugal, the Cantons of Geneva, Freiburg and Vaud in Switzerland, the city of Prague in the Czech Republic and the departments of l'Ain, Ille-et-Vilaine, Isère, Loire, Loire-Atlantique, Maine-et-Loire , Pas de Calais, Puy de Dôme, Pyrénées Atlantiques, Pyrénées Orientales and Tarn-et-Garonne in France, the city of Copenhagen and surroundings and the city of Odense in Denmark and Hungary is now completely code orange.

In all these specific areas, the level of coronavirus infection has increased enormously. The State Department advises you to travel to these orange areas only when absolutely necessary. Holidays are therefore not recommended. After a stay in these areas, travelers must stay at home in quarantine for 10 days when they return to the Netherlands.

The Dutch government is also important advice adapted for the Italian island of Sardinia. Upon arrival on the island of Sardinia, all travelers (also from the Netherlands) must show a negative COVID-19 test (serological, molecular or antigen). The test must not be older than 48 hours. Every traveler to Sardinia must also register online 48 hours before departure
