Alexander Pechtold makes an urgent appeal to his driver trainers. The consequences of the recently tightened measures can be felt by everyone, including the CBR and driving schools. Almost all industries are affected by the corona crisis. Cafes and restaurants are closed again. Everyone has to work from home as much as possible and all kinds of other rules have been tightened up by the cabinet recently in a press conference. When measures were relaxed again in and around our country around the summer and the number of corona infections had decreased, we had to wait for the next wave of infections. Well it has now arrived, with an average of 8000 corona infections per day in recent days.

Alexander Pechtold general director of the CBR does one video call on behalf of the CBR to its driver trainers. In the beginning of the corona crisis, they were closed for 9 weeks due to the consequences of the corona crisis. Alexander Pechtold makes an appeal to work well together with each other and to wear a mouth mask during the lessons, they can make absolutely no exception for this. So the instructors and the person who has a driving lesson should both wear a face mask.

They have now again had to postpone 80 exams because employees of the CBR are infected with corona. Candidates whose exam has been postponed can catch up free of charge at another time, but the question is when this is possible. Normally, catching up on a delayed exam can be done within a few weeks, but now with the corona crisis this is not possible. The health of everyone comes first. He calls for joint efforts to be made and to adhere to the measures in these times of crisis.
