Transport of patients is a crucial link in healthcare, and yet it often goes wrong. Automation is an indispensable link but with the B2B platform of the startup Booqit their own process is more like a roller coaster than a highway. From the very beginning in 2018, it has been difficult for carriers to realize a direct link with their own ICT systems with the Mutualistische Alarmcentrale Mutas België vzw.

shielding from the market

All requests from the market have been stranded for years at the intermediary Booqit, which itself indicates that booking has never been so simple. A link to interconnect software systems is still not in sight. Booqit is convinced that organizing medical and social transport should be simple, but for the time being only does this with its own software. It seems that they want to push their own planning package into the market instead of being a neutral B2B platform that Mutas carriers can use.

"We are currently finalizing our API documentation. This will allow you to get started to get the accepted rides from our system in such a way that you save time by not having to retype data."

The above statement dates from Friday, November 16, 2018, but in the meantime, the market is still waiting and this inconvenience costs the transport sector a lot of money every day. It is therefore high time to raise the alarm with Mutas's operations manager, who sees Booqit as a neutral partner. Within the shortest time they will let you know the email received in good order regarding the link request.

“Unfortunately, we cannot help you with this as we only have access to the APIs provided to us. I would advise you to turn to booqit again. ”, Says Anja De Leeuw Operations Manager Mutas.

Despite good promises on the Booqit website When inquired last week, it appears that there may be an API in the first half of 2021. We therefore ask ourselves whether Mutas knows what is going on and is aware of the problems that have been dragging on in the ICT story for years.

“The integration or link with other systems is indeed done via APIs. We are aiming to make it available in the first half of 2021, ”said a spokesperson for the Booqit team.

manual labor

Many carriers are now ringing the bell and partly due to the obligation to use Chiron, automation is more necessary than ever. The time when you have to check trip orders via a portal and download PDF files and then retype them into your own software systems are long gone.
