From Wednesday December 16 until at least Monday January 18, distance education will become the norm from primary education up to and including the universities. The Cabinet urgently advises not to receive more than 2 guests from the age of 13 at home per day. On December 24, 25 and 26, 3 remains the maximum, with the exception of children under 13 years of age. From today also applies a maximum group size of 2 outside, unless you go out with your own household.

From today the gyms, swimming pools and sports halls will close, so all indoor sports locations. Outdoor sports locations can remain open and young people up to the age of 18 can also continue to train outside as a team. A round of running or cycling on your own is of course always possible and is also recommended.

As of today, all citizens from non-EU countries must be able to submit a negative test if they come to our country from outside Europe. The risks and uncertainties are simply too great. The urgent advice is and remains: stay at home as much as possible and do not make unnecessary trips. And of course, if you have rented a house somewhere in the Netherlands around the holidays, you can go there.
