Following EasyJet's recent offer to help the UK government, EasyJet cabin crew are being recruited to support the NHS (National Health Service) as part of the vital nationwide effort to spread the Coronavirus vaccine. The airline wrote to the British Prime Minister in November to support the government in its efforts to implement the national vaccination program Covid-19 this winter. With over 3000 crew trained in first aid, security clearances and located all over the UK (in London, Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast), EasyJet Cabin Crew is well positioned to serve the NHS across the UK. country with the vaccination program.

As EasyJet continues to operate on a reduced schedule as a result of the pandemic, their team on leave has the ideal skills to help provide much-needed support to the NHS in the rollout of the Covid-19 vaccine. Crew applying will be quickly approached to become fully qualified in administering a vaccine at NHS vaccination centers around the country. They will attend online and on-site immunization training courses to become fully qualified in the administration of the vaccine.

Last year, the airline partnered with the NHS to recruit volunteers among its first aid trained cabin crew. This is to directly support the clinical services in NHS Nightingale hospitals and allow aviation personnel to volunteer as NHS emergency responders. EasyJet cabin crew and pilots have also volunteered to support the NHS through Project Wingman. They provided welfare support to frontline clinical staff fighting the coronavirus pandemic in 85 hospitals across the country. The project's co-founder, recent EasyJet captain Emma Henderson, has received an MBE (British Knighthood) for her leadership of the charity. As with these previous programs, it is expected that hundreds of EasyJet crewmembers will apply to continue supporting the NHS, now to administer fully qualified vaccines. This reports EasyJet on their website.
