The Netherlands has a world champion and Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is extremely popular. The 1 Formula 2022 season will start this weekend with the Bahrain Grand Prix. In the Netherlands, the preview and afterthought will be provided by F1 experts such as Giedo van der Garde, Tom Coronel and Christijan Albers. Amber Brantsen has a fresh face as a presenter. No less than 23 races are on the calendar and all sessions can be followed live at Viaplay, which has F1 central to its programming. The Bahrain 2022 GP will also be held this year at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.

Four months before the start of the 1 Formula 2022 season, Viaplay was preparing for the launch in the Netherlands. The studio program surrounding the Formula 1 broadcasts is presented by Amber Brantsen. Amber Brantsen is not a new face for Formula 1 fans. Since 2019, Brantsen, in addition to her work as a news anchor at the NOS Journaal, the presenter of the NOS Formula 1 podcast. From the start of the 2022 season, Viaplay studio will be her new domain.

Amber Brantsen is honored to host Formula 1 in the Netherlands. The Dutch sports team of Viaplay is led by Marco Zwaneveld, who started on November 1 as Head of Sports in the Netherlands. He is delighted to welcome Amber as the first member of Viaplay's Formula 1 team in the Netherlands.
