Are you a graffiti artist, painter, illustrator? Submit an artistic project to brighten up the ceiling above the double escalator to the Rogier metro station City 2. After the embellishment of the tunnel mouths of the South and Jamarlaan (between Lemonnier and the South station), of the Vrijheidslaan and the Jetselaan (Simonis ) and Reyers, Brussels Mobility is now offering artists the opportunity to consider a project to embellish the ceiling above the double escalator leading to Rogier, on the corner of Boulevard du Jardin Botanique and Rue Neuve, just in front of the entrance to the City shopping center 2.

The call is addressed to every adult who, individually or in a group, is involved with murals. The two fairly deep escalators, one ascending and one descending, are located in a shaft whose walls are clad in blue stone. The plates of the ceiling are made of concrete that is currently painted black. It is precisely on this ceiling that the project relates. It is very visible from the escalators that are used by both commuters and visitors to the shops in the Nieuwstraat and tourists.
