The popularity of shared transport is growing, we can hardly imagine a society without it. In more and more places we can borrow scooters, bicycles, cars and cargo bikes. Cities are getting bigger and it's getting busier everywhere. We have a lot of cars in our small country, which causes traffic jams and parking problems, among other things. As more and more people start using shared transport such as bicycles, scooters and cars, less and less private cars are used. Shared transport is good for the environment and saves costs. Using shared transport is easy via the various apps and is accessible to everyone. The Dutch Railways recently started offering electric shared scooters from Check in the NS app.

“A traveler travels from door to door and not from station to station. We want to ensure that the NS app helps with a quick and easy journey with all kinds of shared transport. We therefore look beyond the train, bus, metro or tram. In the NS app we already provide information about public transport bicycles, taxis and shared cars. Offering electric scooters from Check is yet another step.”

You can rent CHECK electric scooters in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Breda, Enschede, Groningen, Zwolle, Leeuwarden and Amersfoort. This makes it even easier for travelers to travel from door to door. Travelers can see the availability of the electric CHECK shared scooters in the NS app. Travelers passing through the NSIf you create an account for the first time and reserve a scooter at Check, you will receive up to sixty free driving minutes. Travelers can try out the electric scooters. Travelers can see where a CHECK shared scooter is located near the NS app, function in the neighbourhood.
