In recent years, Euphoria has worked hard on an improved on-board computer. That is why they are very pleased that the Cabman MDT received the RDW type approval for this product last week. To start with, the MDT has a brand new 7-inch screen. This screen allows drivers to view the information on the screen even better. They also made several technical improvements during the development. For example, they have made the Cabman MDT even faster and that makes it even easier to operate the on-board computer.

A frequently requested feature, in the past nine years that the Cabman BCT has been on the market, is integrated navigation. They have included this question in the development of the MDT and therefore the new device with a navigation that you can operate easily and quickly via the screen. The technological enrichment came about by using Sygic's maps. With the additional navigation module, the driver can navigate safely and easily from A to B and separate navigation terminals are a thing of the past.

It is important that with the Cabman MDT it remains possible to use all the additional products. Think, for example, of the modules from the Cabman Smart Vehicle. With the Cabman MDT it becomes even easier to use these modules because the data is even more extensive due to technical improvements. The MDT also offers the option of activating the taximeter module. This taximeter is MID-certified, just like that of the BCT.

Besides the fact that the MDT has new functions and technical improvements, the on-board computer also offers a number of proven functions from the BCT. This way you can still find all journeys clearly in the journeys screen and it remains possible to receive and send messages to and from the exchange. You can also connect the MDT to a printer or mobile payment terminal and the device contains an integrated telephone module. Of course it doesn't stop with the features that the MDT currently contains. Behind the scenes, Euphoria is working on various cool functions. You can think of bluetooth, nfc and further CAN bus integrations. With the arrival of the MDT, the company has also created new special Cabman MDT subscriptions.
