Due to staff shortages, temporary measures have been in place since 11 June 2022 with regard to the moment when you can book your Valys trips. In mid-July Valys informed that the temporary measures had been extended until at least the end of October. Unfortunately, they still have a staff shortage, Covid infections among drivers are increasing and the flu season is just around the corner. That is why the temporary measures will be extended again until the end of February 2023.

The purpose of the temporary measures is to continue to provide the best possible service to travelers despite the staff shortages and to provide certainty about your trip. The temporary measures do not change. In the coming period, they will evaluate the effects of the measures and the state of affairs in the taxi industry. 

Valys regularly consults with the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport and with various client and interest groups. The purpose of these evaluations is to see together when and how they may be able to relax the temporary measures. At the latest at the end of January 2023, they will inform again about the current situation and what travelers can expect from 1 March.
