There's a parade of the strangest and most bizarre costumes you've ever seen. From giant bananas to policemen in tutus, everything is possible.

We are once again on the eve of an important weekend. Carnival in Brabant, the party where everything is allowed and nothing is too crazy. Firstly, it is highly recommended to travel to the city center by public transport or by bicycle. The entire city center is not a place to park the car, because carnival has made way for mobility in Brabant.

There's a parade of the strangest and most bizarre costumes you've ever seen. From giant bananas to policemen in tutus, everything is possible. And just when you think you've seen the craziest costume, someone will pass by in an even crazier costume. It's a party where you don't have to take yourself too seriously and you can let yourself go.

But it's not just about the costumes, of course. Carnival in Brabant is also known for its music. From sing-alongs to classic carnival numbers, everything passes by. It is a party where everyone goes crazy to the music and the atmosphere can be felt everywhere. And if you are a real carnival connoisseur, you know that the song “from left to right” is an absolute hit in the entertainment circuit.

But the highlight of carnival in Brabant are of course the various parades. A procession of colorful floats, dancing people and music that travels throughout the city. The floats are sometimes so big and spectacular that you wonder how they ever fit through the streets. And if you think it can't get any crazier, another float will pass by with a giant elephant on it or a huge haunted house.
