FNV Taxi calls on its members not to sign the supplement to the Noot Taxi contract. FNV Taxi receives a lot of reactions from members of taxi carrier Noot. They indicate that a contract extension is supplemented with the employment contract with separate agreements. This is not according to agreements in the collective labor agreement. So don't sign for agreement, according to FNV Taxi. 

The appendix contains a number of special agreements about which FNV has a different opinion, such as being prepared to carry out all types of work in passenger transport and deployability 24/7. In addition, people are asked whether they are willing to use their own transport to drive to all branches that fall under the Noot holding, without travel costs in accordance with the collective labor agreement.

All types of work

By agreeing to perform all types of work, you agree. You must then have the correct papers. As a WMO driver you can also be deployed on student transport, for example.

Can be used 24/7

You certainly do not have to agree to be available 24/7. You make a schedule with your employer. As regulated by law, you must know which days you are free 28 days in advance. Four days in advance you should know what your start and end times are according to schedule. Nobody needs to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You are required to be available for work during your contract hours. But then your employer must make the schedule correctly and together with you. Your employer must also have a works council (or) in accordance with the law. Normally, the works council determines the timetables together with the employer. Unfortunately, this is not the case now. We would like to work with you and your colleagues to set up an or at your company.

Own transport

The agreement to use your own transport to drive to all locations is at odds with the CLA Taxi Transport. Each driver has 2 parking places. The first location is your home address (for when you have the vehicle at your door at home). The second location is 1 Chamber of Commerce registered office of your company. You only have to accept a possible third location if you agree with it. Your working time always starts and ends at 1 of your locations that are recorded in writing. If your location is changed, you may be entitled to travel expenses. It is therefore not the case that you have to carry out your work from all locations of Noot without travel costs.

Advice: don't sign

We advise you not to sign for the extra appointments. Have you already signed? The Collective Labor Agreement for Taxi Transport is a collective labor agreement that has been declared binding. This means that everyone must at least adhere to the content of the collective labor agreement. More or better rewarding is allowed, but less rewarding is not allowed. As a result, the collective labor agreement has the status of law and that is above an individual agreement or employment contract. In that sense, the agreements are therefore not valid. But, avoid problems and don't sign.
