After a long period of extensive testing with a limited number of Rotterdam taxi drivers, the new Trevvel Driver App released and published in the AppStore and Google PlayStore for iOS and Android devices.

Trevvel has now successfully handled all transport for the municipality of Rotterdam for about a year and a half. This concerns between 5000 and 7000 journeys per day. Arno van Haasterrecht Monday, August 5, went to work as new general manager Trevvel Rotterdam where he replaces Interim director Aad Romijn. 

Trevvel continues to innovate to ensure maximum quality.

The latest innovation was the introduction of Liza, the latest addition to the call center. Liza is started in April as a digital call center employee at Trevvel and knows like no other how to answer travelers' questions quickly. The advantage for the traveler is that he has to wait much less long when he calls. Liza is always available between 06.00 a.m. and 01.00 a.m. and transfers remain possible because Liza does not take over all telephone calls.

The new Trevvel Driver App is based on Pitane Mobility Link technology and uses the Pitane Mobility network with which it communicates with the data center via an API. The software is primarily made for taxi and control centers, directing target group transport and supporting departments responsible for traffic control. Over the years, they have also included other transport sectors within the portfolio, such as funeral transport, bus transport and train replacement bus transport.
