At an extraordinary meeting of the supervisory board, Joel Lebreton, chairman of the supervisory board of Keolis Group, appointed Patrick Jeantet as executive chairman of the Keolis Group. Patrick Jeantet will take office as Executive President of Keolis Group in early 2020.

Keolis Nederland, is a flexible mobility service provider in Gelderland (Veluwe), Overijssel (Mid-Overijssel and Twente), Utrecht and Almere. Keolis Netherlands is a 100% subsidiary of the global mobility company Keolis. Syntus Gelderland, Syntus Overijssel, Syntus Utrecht, Syntus Twente, allGo and KeolisBlauwnet are a service of Keolis Nederland.

“Patrick has extensive international experience, including eight years with Keolis. His extensive knowledge of the public transport sector and public transport authorities both internationally and in France is a real advantage in achieving the strategic goals of growing our business and improving the profitability of the Keolis Group, ”said Joel Lebreton.

Patrick Jeantet, now 59, graduated from the École Polytechnique in France and the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He worked mainly internationally and started his career in construction (at Bouygues and Sogea-VINCI) and then worked in the water industry (at Bechtel and International Water).

From 2005 to 2013 he worked at Keolis as Deputy CEO. In 2014 he was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Groupe Aéroports de Paris.

In May 2016, Patrick Jeantet was appointed chairman and CEO of SNCF Réseau and vice-chairman of the board of the French Railways SNCF. He developed and launched the Nouvel'R transformation project to prepare the rail network of the future by combining digital technologies and new working methods.
