From today, users of the new Gaiyo transport app can plan, book and pay for their train journey with this app. During off-peak hours and at weekends, you receive a 10% discount on the train ticket all year round. Traveling by car is becoming increasingly difficult. Long traffic jams, soaring parking costs, often you just don't get where you need to be. Gaiyo helps you to reach your destination with your own car, bicycle or other people's transportation. You immediately know the options available before or while on the move. We help you choose, provide access and pay for many transport alternatives.

Gaiyo is the app for planned and unplanned travel. The app combines all types of transport (including partial transport) to provide the best travel advice, regardless of location. The user can easily buy a digital train ticket. The ticket appears directly on the smartphone after purchase. Users of the app receive a 10% discount on train tickets during off-peak hours and on weekends. With a digital train ticket via Gaiyo you can avoid a busy queue at the ticket machine. Also, the conductor does not have to accept the train ticket, but can scan it at an appropriate distance from the mobile phone. You can start the journey immediately and only have to pay the travel costs afterwards. An overview of the travel history and outstanding costs is provided via a personal Gaiyo account. Furthermore, users do not pay a € 1 surcharge as with the NS ticket machine, but only € 0,50 cents transaction costs.

'With our new Gaiyo transport app you can see all the transport around you. From stations and stops to the shared bike and car on the corner. By providing an overview of all transport, we want to create an overall picture that makes it even easier to travel. We also provide access to transport, such as the train. From today you can order digital train tickets via the app and travel at a discount during off-peak hours, weekends and national holidays. We are the only party that offers this discount without a subscription form ', says Denie Kasan, Marketing Innovationctor International BV
