Everything at Schiphol that frequently comes into contact with travelers is also cleaned extra thoroughly. Counters, sanitary areas, waiting areas, etc. are cleaned extra daily to minimize the spread of the corona virus at Schiphol. Now the airport has posted a message on their website that since Thursday they have installed three new sanitizing locations, the so-called 'Sanitizing Service' points. These decontamination locations can be found at Schiphol Plaza, in Lounge 3 and between Arrivals 4 and XNUMX. In these decontamination locations travelers can disinfect personal items such as keys, passport and telephone.

The Sanitizing Service points to the airport consist of four parts, in all areas travelers can disinfect their hands, disinfect their belongings with moist wipes and there is also hand cream to take good care of the hands after using the disinfectants. There is also a room where travelers can disinfect their personal belongings using UV-C light. There is also a section specially designed for families, which is easy for parents because everything in this room has been adjusted in height and made attractive for children. All these 'Sanitizing Service' points contain fully durable hand gels made from tulip bulbs that were not suitable for cultivation. The UV-C devices used in these areas are also from Dutch soil. At all 3 'Sanitizing Service' points, an employee of Schiphol is usually present to welcome passengers and possibly assist with disinfection with the UV-C light device.
