Everyone is welcome on the train again, whether you are traveling to work or taking a city trip. If we take each other into account, we can go out more often. There are some simple rules of thumb to keep it safe for all train travelers. Avoid crowds and travel outside rush hour if possible. In this way we make it more pleasant for everyone to travel. Be sure to follow the directions in the station hall and on the platforms, such as walking routes and markings to keep your distance. Also make sure that you touch as little as possible at the station and in the train and keep a sufficient distance, even when getting on and off. That's a time when people often flock together.

The rule is that we keep 1,5 meters away. This is often not possible on the train. That is why the mouth mask is mandatory for travelers from 13 years old. This applies to all public transport. This also includes the replacement buses that NS can use in the event of a malfunction or work on the track. It makes the journey safer for everyone. As a traveler you are responsible for purchasing and wearing the mouth mask. They are for sale at the kiosks at the stations. You put on the mask before you get in. When you have gotten out, it can be off again. Outside the train you keep 1,5 meters away.

Travel planned? Check! Mouth mask with you? Check!

NS Travel Assistance is available as always. If you have a motor disability, employees can help you board, exit or transfer. If you have a visual impairment, you can be accompanied on your way through the station. The employee will always wear a mouth mask when providing assistance. You can also bring bicycles under certain conditions. Just like in domestic trains, your bicycle can also travel on the international train. The various international connections each have their own rules for bicycle transport. Sometimes, for example, your bicycle can only be taken disassembled.
