NS CEO Roger van Boxtel says goodbye to the Dutch Railways after five years. The president was initially supposed to make a farewell tour through the Netherlands today, but due to the revival of the corona virus, this was canceled. That is why the CEO has digital goodbye taken. Van Boxtel was appointed five years ago to return peace to NS. 

Marjan Rintel succeeds Boxtel

On the nomination of the Supervisory Board, the Minister of Finance, Mr Wopke Hoekstra, has appointed Marjan Rintel as the CEO of NS. Rintel has been working at NS since November 2014. As Director of Operations and a member of the Executive Board, she is currently responsible for all operational transport and maintenance activities in the Netherlands. Rintel has extensive knowledge of leading complex operational and logistics processes with a major social impact. She also has extensive commercial and managerial experience.

Marjan Rintel: “I am proud of the results we have achieved for our customers with all NS employees in recent years.
