For that reason, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has recently adapted the travel advice on their website for these countries.
In Austria the number of corona infections has increased in the states of Upper Austria and the state of Salzburg. That is why the travel advice has been adjusted and these parts change from color code 'yellow' to color code 'orange'. Traveling is only allowed if necessary, so you are not allowed to travel to the federal states of Tyrol (with the exception of the municipality of Hinterriß and Jungholz), Vorarlberg (with the exception of the municipality of Kleinwalsertal / Mittelberg), Niederösterreich, Oberösterreich, Vienna and Salzburg for tourism. After a stay in these orange parts, you are advised to go into home quarantine for 10 days when you return to the Netherlands.

At the moment, the risk of contamination has also increased in the city Oporto (Portugal). That is why the travel advice has been adjusted and the color code of Porto has therefore been changed from 'yellow' to 'orange'. The number of infections is still high in the 'Area Metropolitana de Lisboa (AML)' region. This region also remains 'orange'. After a stay in the city of Porto and the Area Metropolitana de Lisboa region, you are advised to go into home quarantine for 10 days when you return to the Netherlands.
