From 1 January 2021, a vehicle registration requirement will apply to both motor vehicles with limited speed and agricultural vehicles. After more than a month, there are almost 2300 MMBS on registration (2%) and more than 22.000 agricultural vehicles (8%), according to figures from the RDW. Owners have until December 31, 2021 to register and register the vehicle.

Other new rules for agricultural vehicles

The speed limit for agricultural vehicles goes from 25 km / h to 40 km / h. By registering every vehicle, the Netherlands can also comply with the European MOT requirement. However, this only applies to vehicles with a construction speed above 40 km / h, or to vehicles used for non-agricultural purposes. Diks Verzekeringen reports this on them website.
