The coronavirus still has the whole world in its grip. We will be in lockdown until at least March 2 and we still have a curfew. Just like in our country, the lockdown in Germany has also been extended to at least March 14, initially the intention was 22 March. The Federal Government decided this yesterday in Berlin. The actual lockdown would actually end on February XNUMX, but to prevent a third corona wave from the new variant, it has been extended again. However, it is a lockdown with easing. Schools and day-care centers will soon be reopened, but there is still a lot of discussion about this and Chancellor Merkel was unable to bring the sixteen states into line. The federal states are free to decide when they reopen their schools and day-care centers. The state of Berlin would like to open the schools on February XNUMX.

Hairdressers may also open again from 1 March, but subject to conditions, requirements are: Hygiene rules, only by appointment and with medical mouth masks. The catering industry in Germany has been closed since November, delivery and pick-up is allowed. Culture and leisure establishments and cinemas have also been closed since November. Since December XNUMX, non-essential shops, nurseries, schools and shops of people with contact professions have been closed.
