Today is the day, enthusiasts can register from today until Wednesday 21 April 18:00 pm for the second trial holiday this year. Travel organization Tui and Corendon, with the support of ANVR, RIVM and the government, have opened the registration on their website from this morning. The trial holiday is from 1 to 8 May and the trip goes to Gran Canaria.

There is room for 180 participants. Participants are seated in a luxurious 4-star hotel on an all-inclusive basis. The participants passing through Tui and Corendon are selected pay € 799 per person for this holiday with a double occupancy. Travelers must be between 18 and 70 years old and meet the criteria set by the government for this trip.

Participants who have been selected will be called no later than Friday 23 April to go through everything for this trip. People who have registered but have not been selected will of course also be informed about this. Corendon will operate the outward and return flights of this trip. The mandatory PCR tests that everyone must undergo are included in the price. Contrary to the previous trial holiday to Rhodes, participants are allowed to leave the hotel on this trip.

The first trial holiday with 188 participants left for the Greek island of Rhodes last Monday. Today the 188 participants stepped on board after taking part in a corona test and then returned to the Netherlands. All participants must be in home quarantine for 5 days and a new rapid test after 5 days. It is clear from the numbers of registrations that people really want to go on vacation. They don't care what rules they have to adhere to, as long as they can go on vacation.
