It worked, the municipality of Zandvoort announces that they have granted an event permit to the organization of the Heineken Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix. Formula 1 will therefore officially continue in Zandvoort, nothing stands in the way of the Grand Prix now. The application for the permit had already been submitted to the municipality in June by the organization of the Heineken Formula 1 Dutch Grand Prix.

“The arrival of Formula 1 promises to be a great spectacle. The whole of Zandvoort will also benefit from the extra attention and visitors that this event entails. In order to limit any nuisance as much as possible, the organizer is expressly requested to pay attention to measures that contribute to reducing nuisance and nuisance. The measures are described in an extensive mobility plan that aims to guarantee the accessibility of Zandvoort for residents, entrepreneurs and visitors as much as possible. Residents should be aware that the measures cannot prevent traffic disruption in Zandvoort on the days prior to and during the event. The permit shows a nice balance between measures that must be taken on the one hand and the possibility of organizing a large, accessible and safe event on the other."
