Amazon is working with car group Stellantis on software for the cars of the company's major brands, including Fiat, Opel and Citroën. From 2024, Amazon en stellantis collaborate to deliver software solutions for Stellaantis new digital platform STLA SmartCockpit. Together, the two companies will create a suite of software-based products and services that integrate seamlessly with customers' digital lives and add value over time through regular over-the-air (OTA) software updates.

Stellantis will also supply electric vans that Amazon will use for delivery. Stellantis is the parent company of brands such as Opel, Fiat, Citroën, Peugeot, Jeep, DS, Alfa Romeo and Chrysler. The collaboration was announced at the major Consumer Electric Show (CES) in Las Vegas. By 2030, 34 million Stellantis cars should be equipped with software products that can be monetized through subscriptions.
