The NKC has announced the nominees for the Camper van of the year 2023 election. Camper enthusiasts can vote for their favorite camper van, bus camper, semi-integrated and integral camper until October 31, 2022. The winners will be announced on January 25, 2023.
Every year, motorhome manufacturers present their improved motorhome models. From the offer for 2023, the professional jury has determined the nominees for the title Camper of the Year in four categories. This looked at price-quality ratio and the degree of innovations. This year's jury was formed by camper journalists Steven Durnez of the Belgian magazine Campertijd, Jos Mark, editor-in-chief of the Campingtrend website and editor-in-chief Mieke Scharloo, on behalf of the editorial team of Kampeerauto.

In this sixteenth edition of the election, it is the first time that camper vans have their own category. Previously, these had to compete with the somewhat larger and therefore more luxurious bus campers. The reason for the introduction of this new segment is that there is a lot of movement in the market in the field of these compact camper vans. Numerous models have been added, including some electric ones.

After all, it is the users who spend years on the road with the motorhomes and can thus best appreciate the advantages and disadvantages of technical gadgets and special layouts. Which campers may carry the title of 2023 will be announced on January 25, the first day of the Caravana fair in Leeuwarden. You can vote until October 31 .
