The Greek government has announced new corona measures. From August 17, 2020, all travelers, with the exception of children up to 10 years of age, from the Netherlands, among others, who arrive in Greece by air or land, must submit a negative PCR test Covid-19. The test must be taken no more than 72 hours before entry.

The document bearing the negative test result must be in English and bear the passenger's name and passport or ID card number. Dutch people flying from Germany do not need to submit a PCR test. Here too, of course, the obligation to fill in a PLF form applies. Dutch people who come by boat from Italy do NOT need to submit a PCR test, so only fill in the PLF.

Throughout Greece, it will be mandatory to wear a face mask in public transport, in all shops, banks, taxis, elevators and all other public and public spaces from 29 July. You risk a fine of EUR 150 if you do not wear a mouth mask. Always follow local corona rules. Consider the mandatory completion of a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) well before your departure, but no later than 24 hours before arrival in Greece. For this information, see the section 'Road Safety 'and' Coronavirus'.
