Eindhoven Airport has decided to stop the tendering procedure for the design and realization of the planned parking garage P5. In addition to the uncertainty in the short and long term as a result of the current corona crisis, the Council of State adopted the zoning plan for Eindhoven Airport and surroundings (parking garage P14) on 5 August last. suspended. This zoning plan was adopted by the Eindhoven city council on 28 January of this year.

The suspension of the amended zoning plan and the lack of clarity about the term within which the Council of State will reach a final decision in the substantive proceedings, have led to even more uncertainty for the planning of this project. Only after the basic procedure has been completed will it be clear whether the amended zoning plan will take effect and whether a parking garage can be put out to tender in accordance with the amended zoning plan.

Eindhoven Airport has now informed all parties involved in this tendering procedure.
