According to responsible Minister Hugo de Jonge of Public Health (CDA), all 'signals are on green'. However, the numbers of infections and corona patients in hospitals are falling so fast that something can be accelerated. The third step of the relaxation plan states that people may again receive a maximum of four visitors at home and that the catering industry may also serve guests indoors. Alcohol sales in shops will also be allowed again from 5 June until ten o'clock in the evening and cultural institutions such as museums may reopen their doors.

The corona virus in the Netherlands has been on its way back for more than a week. Between Tuesday and Wednesday morning, the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) registered 2794 new corona infections. Currently, the cafes and restaurants are only allowed to serve their outdoor terraces. The closing times will be extended from 5 pm to XNUMX pm. In addition to the restaurants and cafes, cinemas, museums and theaters may open from XNUMX June.
