Car Driver Deals has not yet responded to the more than 500 claims that the law firm Delissen Martens have now submitted on behalf of the victims. Due to the many claims sent, the physical mailbox of Atvangarde, the company behind Car Driver Deals, is now so full that they receive the letters back. More than 800 victims have reported to Van Hardenbroek and that number is still rising.

few notifications

Lawyer Olivier van Hardenbroek indicates that they have consulted on behalf of the victims with the Landelijk Meldpunt Internet Oplichting and the police. There it was said that victims of Atvangarde had made twelve reports of fraud in 22 days. For the time being, the police see no reason to work with the office to create a customized solution for filing a report. If you want to file a report, you should contact the police yourself. You can do that by making an appointment or by using this link

According to from Hardenbroek it is not yet clear how much money can be recovered and it is therefore not yet certain whether the victims will receive a part of the advance payment back. Delissen Martens estimate the probability that a percentage of the damage will be reimbursed in the long term, but it also seems certain that not everything will come back.

directors' liability

The investigation into directors' liability has been completed. The conclusion is that there are sufficient reasons to Drivers van Atvangarde and the natural persons behind it liable. They have continued to take money and make commitments after it should have been clear that they would not be able to meet those commitments. Liability statements will be sent this week. The directors and natural persons are also behind Benefit group BV The purchased cars are housed in this company.

Benefit group BV also traded under the name Car Driver Fleet. Benefit group and Atvangarde and its directors and the natural persons behind them are connected in such a way that they will also hold Benefit Group liable for the damage suffered by the victims. The role of the intermediary who mediated in the creation of loans that were used to pay the agreement with Atvangarde (in advance) is also still under investigation.

For a number of victims, the law firm has garnished a third-party prejudgment attachment under ABN AMRO, the bank of Car Driver Deals. They are still awaiting the statement from the bank which will show whether and how much money there is at Car Driver Deals. They are expected to receive this statement next week. In order to prevent the attachments from lapse, a procedure has now been started against Atvangarde. The procedure and attachment are only for a few people. The money they have confiscated will eventually benefit all victims.
