CUBE and BMW are presenting a new bicycle concept at IAA Mobility in Munich: the BMW-inspired CUBE Concept Dynamic Cargo. The three-wheel cargo bike with innovative tilting technology is compact, versatile, practical and rides like a conventional bicycle. It is a bicycle with many possibilities and offers a solution for the urban mobility of the future.

The basis of the three-wheel CUBE Concept Dynamic Cargo is the main frame at the front, which tilts in the bend. An innovative tilting mechanism ensures that the bike and the load remain safe and stable in every bend, while maintaining the natural feeling of cycling on a classic bike. Because the body remains horizontal in all situations, the extra weight is hardly noticed. The electric drivetrain is controlled by input from the pedals and makes the bike, powered by the two rear wheels, feel intuitive and reliable. And thanks to the CUBE ONE SIZE concept, the cargo bike is suitable for riders from 1,50 to 1,90 m high. Innovative attachments for carrying luggage and/or children and optional extras for all weather conditions complete the sophisticated concept.

“The mobility of the future is one of the most important challenges of our time. One of the few solutions that has already proven itself is the electric bicycle. We want to actively help design and apply new mobility solutions. Inspired by the idea of BMW, we have put all our know-how into the development of this cargo bike. We've created an ultra-compact, agile and safe bike that anyone can use and is fun to ride. The electrical support enables versatile use, also outside the urban area. The compact design ensures that the bike is light and safe to maneuver and thanks to the flexible transport options, almost anything can be transported.”

“As a premium provider for individual mobility, the BMW Group actively contributes to creating the liveable city of the future. Given the increase in traffic density in city centers, concepts for micro-mobility vehicles, such as cargo bicycles, can make an important contribution to improving urban mobility. That is why we consciously look beyond the core business of our company. The BMW Group has already presented innovative solutions in the field of micromobility in the past. With the CUBE Concept Dynamic Cargo, our engineers demonstrate once again that they can transfer know-how from the automotive sector to micromobility vehicle concepts. To stimulate the implementation of this, cooperation with partners from relevant industries is attractive. We are therefore delighted about the collaboration with CUBE.”

The CUBE Concept Dynamic Cargo can be seen from 7 to 12 September at IAA Mobility in Munich. For more information about the CUBE Concept Dynamic Cargo, visit www.cube.eu/mobility
