Sonila Metushi who was recently appointed chairman of IRU Taxi Group is no stranger to the Brussels-based IRU. Metushi now takes over the gavel from Christian Holzhauser, the representative of the Austrian Taxi Entrepreneurs Association. In the Netherlands, the brand new IRU Taxi Group chairman earned her spurs as an advisor to the Royal Dutch Transport, where she started working in 2018 and, among other things, gave the right tone and interpretation to the establishment of the MaaS-Lab. Her contribution to the TOMP working group did not go unnoticed either.

Within IRU, where she was previously secretary of the IRU Taxi Group, she can at least be heard internationally. With Albanian, Greek, French, English and Dutch under her belt, she will work together with the new board Armand Joseph-Oudin (UNIT, France) and Pierre Steenberghen (GTL, Belgium), who were elected vice-chairmen.

"We have come to know Sonila Metushi as a driven and ambitious go-getter and to this day have enjoyed working with her within the MaaS-LAB and the TOMP working group. I wish her every success in the global organization IRU."
