The wmo transport for the municipalities of Alkmaar, Bergen, Castricum, Heerhugowaard, Heiloo, Langedijk and Uitgeest will in any case be carried out by Munckhof for the next two years. That is the outcome of the tender that the Alkmaar Region and surroundings partnership has gone through in recent months. This concerns an assignment with a term of two years, which can then be extended by two further years.
Best value for money
The contract was awarded on the basis of best value for money. Price counted for 40 percent and quality for 60 percent. Munckhof won the contract by scoring maximum on the various components in the tender.
Munckhof scored high on areas such as optimization, communication and customer satisfaction. In addition to the innovative ideas to link social support transport with other (target groups) transport, the training plan for the drivers was convincing for the municipalities.
