There are also reports of recurring IT problems at the GGDs that seem to be unresolved. Employees often become discouraged by the problems they experience with the automation systems.

Some GGDs refuse to fill in

Then the confirmation of the injection against corona can also be included in this booklet if you wish. At the moment there is no official proof of vaccination for corona in the Netherlands. You do not have to show anywhere that you have had a corona pepper. Will there be a vaccination certificate in the future or will countries ask for proof when you travel? Then the government will ensure that these cannot be copied.

According to SDU, this is particularly the case in GGD regions Haaglanden, Drenthe and North and East Gelderland. The vaccination invitations sent by the RIVM do not state that the invitee can take the booklet with them.

The Netherlands has not yet taken a decision on a vaccination certificate for travel abroad. No decision has yet been taken on this at an international and European level. This is partly due to the following reason: it is not yet clear whether someone is still contagious after vaccination and can still transmit the virus.
